start the kids early at our ranch!
Larry is teaching this gelding to
change leads.
Larry had been working with this
3 year old halter broke mule for
only  twenty minutes.  This is
Kate.  She is pictured on the
Home Page at 5 years old and is
Larry's permanent mount now.

had completed two training
sessions.  Below is the first
session away from the roundpen.
Larry on yet one more mare from
Chambers Springs Stables.   This
mare was purchased by our
wonderful neighbors, Clovis and
Joan Kuelbs.
And God took a handful of southerly wind, blew his breath upon it, and
created the horse. ~ Bedouin legend
Left and right are pictures
of Angel, another
Chambers Springs mare.  
She was broke as a two
year old, but had no saddle
work done in over five
years.  This was after 30
minutes in the roundpen
with Larry.
Even though Kate looked rough
when she came to Clear Fork
(see below), with a little of
Larry's work, she soon turned
into a two-time blue ribbon
earner!  Here's Toot

For Sale
Each year, Larry is affectionately known as "Trailboss" on a four
day trail ride in September through the Arkansas mountains in
honor of Pioneer Day.  Larry and his friends began this tradition in
1989.  To the left is a picture of the 20th Annual Pioneer Day
Trailride with Larry and Kate leading the group.
